Insurance Requirements

Commercial general liability insurance, including, but not limited to, bodily injury, property damage and personal injury is required for all on-location work in the county and cities. Small crews and still photo projects must provide insurance, also. 

All documents should be emailed to The film commission will then distribute to the proper departments.

Standard Limits:

General Aggregate $1,000,000
Products/Completed $1,000,000

Operations Aggregate

Personal Injury and Adv Injury $1,000,000
Each Occurrence $1,000,000
(Bodily Injury & Property Damage)

Additional insurance coverage or higher limits may be required based upon the risk level the city or county may face. These will be determined when the application is reviewed by risk managers and legal staff. This additional coverage may include a higher limit for General Liability. Other insurance coverage may be required including but not be limited to:

  • Commercial Auto Liability
  • Aviation Liability
  • Marine Liability
  • Pollution Legal Liability
  • Worker’s Comp and Employer’s Liability

PLEASE NOTE that you will also need an ENDORSEMENT to shoot in Pinellas County Parks.
